Thank you for your interest in participating in this year’s Shobou Con to be held at the Central Library in Chesapeake, Virginia on September 7, 2019. Vendor spaces are limited. Con staff will contact you once your application has been processed. Vendor spots are available for $30 and are furnished with one six foot table, two chairs and vendors receive two vendor t-shirts. A second table may be requested for an additional $5.00. 100% of the proceeds go to Friends of the Chesapeake Public Library.

In the interest of keeping our event welcoming to both attendees and participants, we ask that all vendors cooperate with the following guidelines:

Vendor Spaces:
Only vendors that have permission of library staff will be allowed in the Library. Vendors are responsible for staffing their tables.
  • Tables are assigned on a first-come first-served basis the day of the event.
  • Outlets are not guaranteed.
Any other materials needed for display are the responsibility of the vendor.
Emergency exits, doors and walkways must remain accessible to the public.
Set-up times are Friday, September 6 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM or Saturday, September 7 from 8:30AM - 10:00AM.
Space should be cleared out by 4:30PM on Saturday, September 7.

Merchandise Policies:
All merchandise must be appropriate for family viewing.
Only prepackaged food with a nutritional label or list of ingredients is permitted.
Written permission from the artist and/or company owning rights to any art not produced exclusively by the vendor must be available upon request.
