Zap! Pow! Bam! Boom! Indian River Library will be hosting its fourth annual Free Comic Book Day event on Saturday, May 2, 2015. FCBD is an event that takes place on the first Saturday in May across the North America. On this day, Comic Book Stores and other participating locations come together to give away free comic books.

The Indian River Library has participated in this even since 2012 in order to help promote literacy and introduce the genre of Comic Books and Graphic Novels to all readers.

“How do I get my free comics?” you might ask! Well, just visit the Indian River Library on May 2, 2015 between 11:00am-4:00pm, and pick up your free comic book while supplies last. But wait! There’s more….
