Win, Lose or Draw
Imagine what it would be like if every day when you woke up and instead of remembering the past, you remembered the future. It sounds crazy, right? London Lane doesn’t remember what she ate yesterday, where she went, or what she said, but sometimes she has memories of tomorrow. This book takes a little getting used to, it is tricky. There is some repetition and sometimes it repeats itself but that is all part of London’s world. She needs a few extra reminders to continue functioning so she jots down notes to herself.
Ok, so the premise is pretty cool- we’ve established that. But, there’s more to the story. Locked inside London’s forgotten past is a tragedy shrouded in mystery. In London’s present, is the love of her life, a boy so special she falls for him again every single day. London’s future is full of memories and you can’t change a memory, can you?
I liked this book. I didn’t love it, but I liked it quite a bit. For me personally, this book is a DRAW… but for some reader, this book will definitely be a win. This could be your next favorite book! Care to give it a whirl?
