I’ve read a ton of books about zombies but for some reason I was really resistant to reading Rot and Ruin. Turns out it was a pretty good book!!

Benny Imura has lived almost his entire life in the world of the undead. He was only a baby when the dead came back to life to get some noms on the living. Benny survived First Night and ended up in Mountainside where he spent his childhood with the other lucky and living folks. As events unfold everything he has ever known is thrown into question. Benny gets a good look at the horrors surrounding him and not all of those untold horrors are walking dead.

This book is a little too manly for me. If you see a zombie loving fella throw this title his way. Or if you come across a girl in need of an apocalypse toss it her way. It really is a good book and if you love it there are sequels!!!

Here are some of our other favorite zombie reads!!

Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter

Newsflesh Trilogy by Mira Grant

The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan

Undead by Kristy McKay

Zom-B by Darren Shan
